Since Burundi is at its second CDN, it shall communicate under article 4 the information referred to in chapter III.B and C above, in accordance with decision 4/CMA.1. The country also indicates how it complies with the provisions of decision 4/CMA.1 in its reports. Information on Clarity, Transparency and Understanding of NDCs (ICTU)
was taken into account in the reporting by focusing on:
- Quantifiable information on the reference point;
- Calendars and/or implementation periods;
- Scope and scope;
- The planning process;
- Methodological assumptions and approaches;
- The manner in which the Party considers its determined contribution at the national level to be equitable in the light of its national situation;
- How the NDC contributes to the achievement of the UNFCCC objective as set out in Article 2.
